Kyoko Masuda is a Professor of Japanese and Linguistics and Director of the Japanese Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Modern Languages. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona (2002) and has been at Georgia Tech since 2004, advancing to Associate Professor (2010) and Full Professor (2024). Her expertise spans Japanese Discourse, Second Language Acquisition, Cognitive Linguistics, and Sociocultural Theory.
