Kylie Rice is Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology at the University of New England's Faculty of Medicine and Health, serving as Academic Lead for Pedagogical Research and HDR Co-Ordinator for the School of Psychology. With a focus on competency assessment and rural healthcare, she received the 2023 Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning and 2024 Australian Award for University Teaching for developing Australia's first simulated psychology placement program.
