Kyle K. Zhao is an Associate Professor at Tulane University's Department of Mathematics within the School of Science & Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Georgia Institute of Technology (2009), alongside M.S. degrees from Georgia Tech (2006) and the University of Science and Technology of China (2004), and a B.S. in Mathematics from USTC (2001).

He has held postdoctoral and visiting roles at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute (Ohio State University) and the University of Iowa's Department of Mathematics.
