Kyle Christopher Rossi

Kyle Christopher Rossi is an Assistant Professor at UMass Chan Medical School in the Department of Neurology. He is affiliated with the T.H. Chan School of Medicine and serves in the Epilepsy Division, where he focuses on clinical neurology and epileptology.

Dr. Rossi completed his undergraduate education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, earning a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He then attended UMass Chan Medical School, where he earned his MD.

As a board-certified clinical neurologist and epileptologist with subspecialty certifications in Clinical Neurophysiology and Epilepsy, Dr. Rossi's primary clinical and research interests include long-term EEG monitoring in critically ill patients, quantitative EEG analysis, pharmacology of anticonvulsant medications, and the surgical evaluation and treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy. His expertise spans both the clinical management of epilepsy and the underlying neurophysiological mechanisms of seizure disorders.

Dr. Rossi's publication record demonstrates a strong focus on epilepsy research, particularly in diagnostic and treatment pathways, monitoring practices, and comorbidities. His work often involves large-scale surveys of NAEC (National Association of Epilepsy Centers) centers, examining variations in clinical practices and outcomes across different regions of the United States.
