Kyla Naylor is an Assistant Professor at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, and an epidemiologist affiliated with ICES and the London Health Sciences Centre. Her research focuses on kidney transplantation, chronic kidney disease, and health services research.
- Education: PhD in Epidemiology & Biostatistics (Western University), Post-Doctorate at University of Toronto/ICES, MES in Environment & Sustainability (Western), and BHK in Human Kinetics (University of Windsor).
Her research examines socioeconomic disparities in transplant outcomes, living donor transplantation, and fracture risk in chronic disease populations. She employs population-based cohort studies and epidemiological modeling to advance kidney health services.
Recent publications address comparative effectiveness of kidney transplant strategies, survival prediction tools in dialysis, and socioeconomic determinants of transplant success. Her work often involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across Canada.
