Dr Kyla Hudson is a Research Fellow at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, The University of Queensland. She works within the Centre for Clinical Research Excellence (CCRE) in Aphasia Rehabilitation and the Communication Disability Centre, focusing on aphasia rehabilitation and the application of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) framework, particularly participation and environmental factors.

Her research spans qualitative analysis of aphasia recovery, telepractice communication training, and interventions for healthcare professionals.
