Kyekyoon Kim is a Professor at the University of Illinois, affiliated with the College of Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. His research spans nanotechnology, semiconductor devices, and biomedical applications of engineered materials.
- Education: PhD in Applied Physics from Cornell University (1971).
Research Interests: Focus on synthesizing tailored precursors for sol-gel processing, charged liquid cluster beam deposition, and chemical vapor deposition. He investigates controlled fabrication of nanoscale materials for advanced applications in drug delivery, power electronics, lighting, and energy storage.
