Kye-Shin Lee is Associate Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Akron's College of Engineering and Polymer Science. His research develops analog integrated circuits for data conversion, deep learning acceleration, and biomedical sensing applications.
Research integrates circuit design with applications in biomedical instrumentation and AI hardware. Current projects include low-power sensor interfaces and neuromorphic computing architectures.
He teaches courses on Analog IC Design, VLSI Systems, and Biomedical Circuits. Prior to academia, Lee held industry positions at Hynix Semiconductor and Texas Instruments, bringing practical experience to his research and teaching.
