Dr. Kwasu Tembo is a Lecturer in the Department of English and Creative Writing at Lancaster University, UK. He holds a PhD in Critical Theory from the University of Edinburgh, following degrees from the University of Victoria (Honours English Literature) and the University of Edinburgh (MScR Critical Theory). His research explores interconnected themes of intensity, including the philosophy of time, Object Oriented Ontology, and intersections of blackness, fascism, and psycho-sexuality in media. He co-founded Phasmid Press, an independent academic publisher, and maintains the Substack 'T.Q.B.X.'
