KwangWook Gang is an Associate Professor in the Management Department at Salisbury University. His research focuses on entrepreneurial activities, technological strategies, and corporate governance in emerging economies, particularly exploring disruptive technology, product strategies, and governance reforms. He investigates firm behavior in dynamic markets, including crowdfunding dynamics, market liberalization impacts, and ownership structure effects on innovation.
His work often examines South Korean firms and global industries, such as the US laser printer industry, to uncover patterns in corporate strategy, governance, and survival. He holds a PhD in Management and has taught courses on strategy and innovation. His research has been published in leading journals, with a recent focus on reward-based crowdfunding mechanisms and shareholder reactions to corporate label changes.
