Kwamou Eva Feukeu

Kwamou Eva Feukeu is a Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg), working under Prof. Dr. Ralf Michaels. She co-leads the Decolonial Comparative Law project and previously served as Africa Coordinator for Futures Literacy at UNESCO. Her roles include facilitating futures literacy initiatives for governments, NGOs, and international bodies like the OECD and UN Global Pulse Finland.

Education: Currently a PhD candidate in Complexity Studies and Law at Lancaster University (UK). Holds a master’s in Business Litigation and Arbitration, and a bachelor’s in African Studies from Sciences Po Paris.

Research focuses on legal norms in anticipatory systems, decolonial studies, and African futures representation. She designs labs and participatory processes in Africa and Europe. Editorial roles include membership on the boards of Futures and Prospective et stratégie.

Key affiliations include the Society for Evolutionary Analysis in Law, African Futurist Association, and the OECD’s Government Foresight Community. Her work integrates law, complexity science, and decolonial methodologies to address epistemological challenges in African futures thinking.
