Kwame Tuffuor

Kwame Tuffuor is an Instructor of Emergency Medicine and Assistant Medical Director at the Yale-New Haven Adult Emergency Department. He holds an Executive MBA from Yale School of Management (2023) and completed an Administrative Fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Yale School of Medicine (2023). His expertise focuses on operational management, patient safety, and improving healthcare access for underserved populations.

Education: BS in Biochemistry from University of Virginia (2009), MD from Howard University College of Medicine (2018), and Emergency Medicine residency at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health (2021). He previously served as a Resident leader for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Northwell Health.
