Kuppareddi Balamurugan

Dr. Kuppareddi Balamurugan is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, affiliated with the School of Criminal Justice, Forensic Science and Security. He holds a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Madras (1993) and completed postdoctoral research at the Miami Children’s Hospital, where he contributed to cloning the Aspartoacylase gene linked to Canavan disease. His expertise spans molecular biology, population genetics, and forensic DNA technology.
