Kuang-Hao Huang is a collaborative pianist and Director of Make Music Chicago Stipend at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts. He has performed globally at venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Chicago's Harris Theatre, with recordings on Cedille, Innova, and Naxos. A strong advocate for new music, he is a core member of Fulcrum Point New Music Project and Picosa, premiering works by composers like Mason Bates and Chen Yi.
He holds degrees in Piano from the University of Wisconsin, Indiana University, and Northwestern University, studying under Leonard Hokanson and Joseph Kalichstein. His work includes founding the Pianos in the Parks program with the Chicago Park District.
