Kuan Yee Han

Dr. Kuan Yee Han is a Research Fellow at Tembusu College and Assistant Dean of Students in the Office of Student Affairs at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from NUS. His academic journey includes leadership roles in the NUS Students’ Union and work at Voyage Medical, Inc. in Silicon Valley, shaping his focus on medtech engineering. His research explores cardiovascular hemodynamics, medical device design, and renal disease solutions, with projects at the Singapore-Stanford Biodesign Program.

Dr. Han’s teaching emphasizes negotiation, ageing, and experiential learning. He co-facilitates negotiation workshops and is a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator, promoting innovative educational methods. His pedagogical approach integrates authentic learning and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement.
