Ksenija Gräfe is a Research Scientist at the Institute of Medical Engineering, University of Lübeck, where she has been working since August 2011. She earned her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2009, followed by an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from Leibniz University Hannover in 2011, and completed her PhD in 2016.
Her primary research focuses on Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI), with special emphasis on single-sided MPI scanner development, biomedical signal processing, and simulation tools for MPI optimization. Dr. Gräfe's work spans both theoretical and practical aspects of MPI technology, including hardware design, image reconstruction algorithms, and system performance characterization.
Analysis of her recent publications (2019-2022) reveals a consistent research trajectory in advancing MPI technology, particularly in developing more efficient single-sided scanners, improving image quality metrics, optimizing signal processing techniques, and exploring clinical applications.
