معرفی
Dr Krzysztof Rodzen is a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering, Ulster University. His research bridges polymer chemistry and additive manufacturing, focusing on optimizing 3D printed tools and developing advanced composite materials to overcome anisotropy in printed structures.
- Academic Affiliation: School of Engineering, Faculty of Computing, Engineering & Built Environment, Ulster University
- Research Focus: CAD-driven additive manufacturing, composite material development, sustainable engineering aligned with UN SDGs
Rodzen's work spans two key areas: (1) 3D Printing Innovations, including fused filament fabrication of PEEK composites and biocompatible materials, and (2) Polymer Chemistry, such as self-assembly of carborane-containing terpolymers and oxidation-activated crosslinking systems. His projects include a multi-user Vector Network Analysis facility funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.
Current collaborations involve institutions like Charles University in Prague and academic peers in biomedical engineering, polymer science, and manufacturing. Though no specific scientific awards are listed, his research metrics include an h-index of 9 and over 234 citations.
