Krzysztof Alejski

Dr. Krzysztof Alejski is a Professor at Poznań University of Technology, serving as Director of the Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering within the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Department of Process Engineering. His academic career spans over four decades with significant leadership roles at the institution.

His educational background includes:

• 1978 - MSc in Chemistry from Poznań University of Technology
• 1986 - PhD in Chemistry from Poznań University of Technology
• 1999 - Habilitation in Chemical and Process Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology
• 2005 - Associate Professor position at Poznań University of Technology

Professor Alejski's primary research focuses on Chemical reaction engineering and Separation processes, with particular expertise in bioproduct purification, catalyst development, and reaction engineering. His work bridges fundamental research with industrial applications, especially in the production and separation of biochemical compounds.

His recent publications (2021-2023) demonstrate a continued focus on advanced separation techniques for bioproducts, thermal analysis of biomaterials, and physicochemical characterization of chemical products.
