Krushna Mahapatra is a Professor of Sustainable Built Environment at Linnaeus University, Sweden. He holds a PhD in Ecotechnology and Environmental Science and an MSc in Forestry from the University of Toronto and Forest Research Institute, India. His research focuses on renewable energy implementation, energy efficiency, and circular economy practices in the built environment. He leads projects such as the Linnaeus University Centre for Competitive Timber Structures and contributes to initiatives like the Climate Neutral Växjö 2030 project.
