Krithika Sundararaman is a Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Science at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), Cambridge. She holds a PhD in Science from the Indian Statistical Institute, focusing on molecular genetic studies of Tibeto-Burman populations. Her postdoctoral work included diabetes genetics research at the University of Toronto and epilepsy genetics at University College London.
Research interests center on medical genetics, particularly sleep disorders, circadian rhythm disruptions, neurodevelopmental disorders, and epilepsy genetics. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles with an h-index of 17 and secured grants totaling £28,622 for projects on circadian genes and sleep disorder genetics. Awards include the Young Scientist Award and Banting and Best Fellowship.
Teaching includes leading modules on Genetics, Biomedical Science advancements, and Core Biology. She supervises PhD students in sleep genetics and welcomes postgraduate research inquiries. Active in grants, she co-leads projects on genetic polymorphisms and collaborates with institutions globally.
