Kristīne Pavloviča is a Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at Rīga Stradiņš University. Her research focuses on medical genetics, surgical oncology, and endocrine surgery with particular emphasis on hereditary cancer syndromes, CHEK2 gene variants, and molecular diagnostics. She contributed to a 2018-2023 EU-funded project improving medical education and clinical management processes at the university.
Her research explores breast cancer genetics, rare pathogenic variants in Latvian populations, and clinical outcomes in endocrine disorders such as hyperparathyroidism and thyroid carcinoma. Recent work includes case studies on leiomyosarcoma recurrence and lymph node metastasis prevalence in thyroid cancer.
