معرفی
Kristopher Kueseman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Mount Mercy University within the College of Natural and Applied Sciences. He joined the university in 2009 after serving as a visiting assistant professor at St. Olaf College.
- Education: PhD in Chemistry from University of North Dakota, BA from St. Olaf College
Research Interests
Kueseman specializes in organometallic chemistry with focus on palladium compound synthesis, catalysis, and green chemical synthesis. His work investigates (sp3)C-H bond activation mechanisms and asymmetric catalytic transformations using oxazoline-based ligands.
Scientific Awards
- Distinguished Departmental Service Award
- Excellence in Student Teaching Award
- Dr. Ronald G. Severson Graduate Research Scholarship
- Severson-Coon Graduate Teaching Scholarship
Publications
Kueseman's research spans organometallic palladation reactions (2000-2014), with emphasis on chiral complex formation, C-H activation mechanisms, and green chemistry applications. His 2014 "green" synthesis paper demonstrates commitment to sustainable laboratory practices.
