معرفی
Kristoffer Linder-Steinlein is a Postdoc researcher at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, Technical University of Denmark (DTU), specializing in Scientific Computing. His research focuses on inverse problems, stochastic media, and uncertainty quantification, particularly in the context of wave equations and random coefficients. He completed his PhD at DTU in 2024 under the supervision of M. Karamehmedovic, with additional supervision by P.C. Hansen and F. Triki.
Research Interests: Linder-Steinlein’s work centers on mathematical methods for solving inverse source problems using passive measurements. Key areas include spectral analysis of stochastic partial differential equations, Fourier-based techniques, and quantifying uncertainties in source localization and imaging within random media. His contributions address challenges in passive imaging, wave propagation in heterogeneous environments, and stability estimates for inverse problems.
Collaborations: He has collaborated with international researchers including J. Garnier and A. Miranville. Recent presentations include talks on stochastic PDE models and spectral analysis of the Helmholtz equation at conferences in 2021.
Key Projects: His PhD project, Uncertainty Quantification for Source Localization and Passive Imaging in Random Media, focused on developing methodologies for imaging in stochastic environments. This work led to 9 publications, including a PhD thesis and peer-reviewed journal articles in Inverse Problems and Journal of Physics A.
