Kristine Høeg Karlsen is a Professor at the Department of Education, ICT and Learning at Østfold University College. Her research focuses on feedback mechanisms, cross-sector partnerships, aesthetic learning, and the Scottish Storyline Approach in teacher education. She holds a PhD in Educational Science from the University of Oslo.

Her research interests include formative assessment, participatory design, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She has held roles such as Committee Member for QS World University Rankings and Advisory Board Member of DANCE ARTICULATED.
