Prof. Dr. Kristina Lepold serves as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Philosophy, Faculty of Philosophy, Humboldt University of Berlin, affiliated with the Social Philosophy / Critical Theory chair. She leads the DFG Emmy Noether Research Group "A Sensible World", focusing on critical theory of sensory experience within contemporary philosophical frameworks.
Research Interests: Prof. Lepold's scholarship integrates Social Philosophy and Critical Theory with Phenomenology and Aesthetics to analyze how social structures shape perceptual and embodied experiences. Her work develops a comprehensive theory of the "sensible world" that bridges critical social analysis with philosophical accounts of sensation and cognition.
