Kristina Kregar is an Assistant Professor at the University of Rijeka's Faculty of Economics and Tourism (EFRI). She specializes in public finance, taxation, and EU fiscal policies. Her teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses such as Economics and Investment Policy, Public Finance, EU Tax Policy, and Smart Cities. She also contributes to programs like Comparative Tax Systems and Local Finance.
Her research focuses on fiscal federalism, tax harmonization within the EU, investment analysis, and the economic implications of smart urban development. She explores topics ranging from VAT coordination to socio-technical approaches in smart cities.
Dr. Kregar is actively involved in curriculum development for both Croatian and English-language academic programs at EFRI, emphasizing transdisciplinary perspectives in public policy and economics.
