Kristin Jonassen

Kristin Jonassen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Nursing Science at the University of Agder (UiA). Her work focuses on advancing practical competence in clinical nursing settings.

Research Interests: Jonassen’s research centers on nursing education, health professions training, and competence development for healthcare professionals, particularly in child health nursing. Her 2013 study explores how pediatric nurses enhance practical skills in clinical environments.

Collaboration: She has collaborated with Åshild Slettebø on publications related to nursing practice and education.
