Kristin Hoganson is a Professor of History at the University of Illinois, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. She holds additional roles as Stanley S. Stroup Professor of History, Professor in Gender and Women's Studies, and Professor in the Center for Global Studies. Her research focuses on U.S. foreign relations and empire from the long nineteenth century through World War I, with emphasis on masculinity, trade, globavore consumption, and imperial infrastructure.
