Kristin DeVleming

Kristin DeVleming is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at UC San Diego. She specializes in algebraic geometry with focus areas including moduli of varieties, K-stability, and birational geometry. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2018 and was previously an assistant professor at UMass Amherst from 2021-2024.

Her research explores fundamental questions in algebraic geometry through advanced mathematical frameworks. Current work focuses on stability conditions in geometric structures and classification of singularities.
