Kristi Flake is a Lecturer in History at the University of Warwick, specializing in early modern religious history. Her research focuses on the Book of Homilies' role in shaping Anglican identity during the English Reformation and 17th-century political theology. She has been funded by The Wolfson Foundation and supervised by prominent historians including Peter Marshall and Beat Kümin. Flake co-organized the 2024 'Twenty-Second Warwick Symposium on Parish Research' and contributed to its conference report. Her teaching includes 'Europe in the Making 1500-1800' and 'Women in Church History' at Fuller Theological Seminary. Key research areas span early modern homiletics, parish dynamics, and the intersection of doctrine and politics in Reformation-era England.
