Kristi Anderson

Dr. Kristi Anderson is a health care leader with a Ph.D. in Systemic Studies and extensive experience in medical education and strategic planning. Currently, she serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she joined the administration in December 2022. She previously held the role of Director of Medical Education for the LSU School of Medicine, Lafayette campus, for 17 years and served as an adjunct faculty member at both Tulane School of Medicine and the California Institute of Integral Studies.

• Bachelor of Science (1992) and Master of Science (1996) from LSU, Ph.D. in Systemic Studies (2019) from ULM
• Research focused on healthcare disparities, African American medical school fit, and transformation/change theories
• Recognized with academic honors including a Dillard University residency and state-level appointments
