Her work explores intersections between media representation, social advocacy, and systemic solutions to economic challenges, particularly in international development contexts. The 2008 thesis analyzed tourism and agrarian reform as competing strategies in the Philippines, reflecting her focus on policy dilemmas in developing economies.
