Kristen Cameron is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Early Childhood Education at Southern Illinois University's College of Education. Her research focuses on critical policy analysis, philosophical and historical foundations of education, and the Reggio Emilia approach, with particular interest in neoliberal influences on educational systems.
She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies (Social Foundations of Education) from Georgia State University (2023). Her work explores connections between educational theory, including John Dewey's philosophy, and contemporary policy frameworks.
