She actively develops teacher preparation models using lesson study methodologies to translate theory into classroom practice.
Analysis of her 2021-2023 publications reveals a dominant focus on lesson study as a transformative vehicle for teacher development in inclusive education, complemented by investigations into professional learning communities and cross-disciplinary health outcomes for disabled populations. This multidimensional approach integrates special education, teacher training, and rehabilitation science.
Her scholarly recognition includes:
- Outstanding Graduate Award from Arizona State University (2021)
As Program Director, Dr. Arnold mentors school psychology students while pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Leadership at Harvard. Her grant activities remain implicit but are evidenced through collaborations with the CEEDAR Center and presentations at international conferences, including engagements in the Philippines and Morocco. Previous instructional roles at University of Kansas and Arizona State University demonstrate her national educational influence.
She maintains active partnerships with Spokane Public Schools, juvenile justice programs, and the CEEDAR Center at University of Florida, driving community-based initiatives like student food pantries and adaptive fitness programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
