Krishnaswami Srihari holds the SUNY Distinguished Professor rank at Binghamton University, serving as Dean of the Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science (2009–present) and Executive Vice Provost for International Initiatives (2015–present). He leads the Watson Institute of Systems Excellence (WISE), fostering university-industry partnerships. His expertise spans electronic packaging, healthcare systems engineering, and manufacturing efficiency.
Education: BS from University of Madras, MS and PhD from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Over 500 peer-reviewed publications and $60M in external grants highlight his prolific research. Advisor to 160+ MS and 40+ PhD students.
