Krishna Bhat, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Widener University's College of Arts & Sciences. His teaching focuses on Organic Chemistry for science majors and interdisciplinary courses for nursing and tourism/hospitality students. Dr. Bhat holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology (1978). His research centers on developing greener synthetic methods for pharmaceutical molecules, particularly resveratrol and boronic acid derivatives, alongside studying their thermodynamic properties. Recent work includes collaborations on phenylboronic acid and trans-resveratrol in solution chemistry.
