Prof. Kris Luyten serves as Full Professor at Hasselt University's Faculty of Sciences, Department of Computer Science, and Vice Director of the Digital Future Lab. He leads the Applied Computer Science Lab within the Expertisecentrum voor Digitale Media (EDM) on Campus Diepenbeek, focusing on human-centered digital systems.
His research spans Human-Computer Interaction with specialization in:

- Human-AI and Human-Robot interaction
