Koushik Saha

Koushik Saha is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Technology, Packaging and Entrepreneurship at the Orfalea College of Business, California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly), San Luis Obispo. He specializes in food packaging and distribution research, with a focus on food-package interactions.

He serves as a principal investigator for the Cal Poly Packaging Research Consortium, collaborating with industry partners in food & beverage and packaging material sectors.

Professor Saha has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles in outlets such as Packaging Technology and Science, Journal of Testing and Evaluation (ASTM), and International Journal of Food Properties, along with 25+ conference proceedings. He coordinates student success initiatives including the Packaging Career Fair, Poly Pack Symposium, and PackExpo instructional programs.
