Dr. Kou Yoshida is a Research Fellow in the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St Andrews. His research focuses on organic electronics, photonics, and optoelectronic materials, with a particular emphasis on organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and their applications in lighting, communication, and biomedical systems. He has contributed to advancements in OLED efficiency, stability, and high-speed data transmission via visible light communication (VLC). His work includes developing electrically driven organic lasers and improving the performance of top-emitting OLEDs through structural optimizations.
