Kostas Nizamis

Kostas Nizamis is an Assistant Professor in Multidisciplinary Design at the Department of Design, Production and Management (ET-DPM) within the Faculty of Engineering Technology at the University of Twente. His research focus spans Systems Engineering, multidisciplinary technical communication, and biomedical applications, including work on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and spinal cord injury solutions.

• Education: M.Eng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace, M.Sc in Biomedical Engineering from University of Twente, Ph.D. in Biomechanical Engineering from University of Twente

His expertise bridges technical domains such as Robotics, Control Systems, and Computer Science with medical challenges like Apoplexy and Wrist Injury rehabilitation. As Director of Transfer for the Authentia foundation, he contributes to knowledge exchange between Greek academics and societal innovation initiatives.
