Korinne Lott serves as the Experiential Learning Coordinator and Instructor within the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina, where she designs and implements practical learning frameworks connecting academic theory with real-world community experiences.
Her expertise centers on experiential pedagogy in kinesiology and health disciplines, emphasizing hands-on application through fieldwork placements, internships, and community partnerships. She oversees mandatory 15-week, 560-hour internship programs—both paid and unpaid—that enable students to develop professional competencies through guided reflection, iterative skill-building, and direct engagement with industry supervisors across diverse community agencies.
In her advisory role, Lott cultivates relationships with partner organizations to facilitate student placements, ensuring alignment between academic requirements and workplace expectations while fostering student confidence and career readiness through structured experiential cycles.
