Konstantina Linardopoulou is a McIntyre International Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow's School of Biodiversity, One Health & Veterinary Medicine (SBOHVM). Her research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches blending veterinary science and engineering to enhance animal welfare, particularly addressing mobility and lameness in dairy cows. She develops radar-based automated systems and machine learning algorithms for welfare detection, promoting ethical and sustainable livestock practices.
Education and Grants:
- Recipient of the McIntyre International Research Fellowship.
- Recipient of a 2024 Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) grant for lameness detection automation using micro-Doppler radar and AI.
