Kolis Summerer is a Professor in the Faculty of Educational Sciences at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. Their academic work focuses on intersections between criminal law, juvenile justice, and social work, with a particular emphasis on sociocultural institutions, welfare systems, and population dynamics.
Current research highlights include collaborations with the CREEP Project and analysis of legislative frameworks in the European Union. They teach courses such as:
