Klein Ileleji

Dr. Klein Ileleji is a Professor and Extension Engineer in the Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering at Purdue University. His research focuses on postharvest technology, biomass feedstock systems, and data science applications in agriculture. He teaches courses on biomass systems and electrical controls, and leads Purdue's renewable energy and grain postharvest extension activities. Dr. Ileleji has extensive international experience in Africa, the Middle East, and beyond, and co-founded JUA Technologies to develop solar dehydration and off-grid energy solutions for small farms.

His research spans grain storage optimization, powder technology, and sustainable agricultural practices. He has pioneered innovations in solar drying systems and pest management strategies for stored grains, with a focus on improving food security in developing regions. Dr. Ileleji is actively involved in global initiatives to modernize agrifood systems through technological and policy-driven approaches.
