Klaus Schenk-Hoppe is a Professor of Financial Economics at the University of Manchester, UK, since January 2015. He also holds an Adjunct Professor position at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). His academic career spans multiple institutions, including Leeds University Business School and School of Mathematics (2005-2014), University of Copenhagen (2002-2004), University of Zurich (1999-2002), University of Bielefeld (1996-1999), and University of Bremen (1993-1996).
His research focuses on Financial Economics, Financial Markets and Trading, Computational Economics and Finance, Dynamic Economic Theory, and Random Dynamical Systems Theory. Recent publications address empirical methodologies, volatility trading, and economic growth.
