Klaus Osterrieder

Klaus Osterrieder is a Professor at the Free University of Berlin's College of Veterinary Medicine, serving as Managing Director of the Institute of Virology. His research focuses on molecular virology, particularly herpesviruses, poxviruses, and hantaviruses. He leads the Berlin Equine Virus Lab (BEVL) and oversees diagnostics, research projects, and collaborations.
