Kirill Welz

Professor Kirill Welz serves as Professor of Business Administration and Head of the Digital Business Management program at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University Villingen-Schwenningen since 2024. With a background as a Diplom-Wirtschaftsphysiker (Graduate in Economic Physics), he brings extensive industry experience from leadership roles at Carl Zeiss AG, PERI Group, and other technology companies to his academic position within the Faculty of Business.

His research interests focus on digital transformation processes and innovation management, with particular expertise in business model development, data modeling, and statistics. Professor Welz's work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical industry applications, drawing from his experience managing product technology centers and innovation processes in multinational corporations.
