Kirill Korolev is an Associate Professor at Boston University's Department of Physics within the College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on mathematical modeling of population dynamics, integrating statistical physics and evolutionary biology to study microbial communities, cancer evolution, and spatial expansion processes. He holds a Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter physics from Harvard University and a B.S. in applied physics and mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
