Kiran Batra

Kiran Batra, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in cardiothoracic imaging. Her clinical focus includes pulmonary medicine, pathology, and interstitial lung disease. Dr. Batra earned her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College, followed by radiology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine and a fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She is board-certified in radiology in both India and the U.S.

Her research centers on interstitial lung diseases, particularly contributing to UT Southwestern's Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) Care Center Network accreditation through multidisciplinary collaboration. She serves on the Lung Transplant Selection Committee and participates in professional organizations like the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Radiological Society of North America.
