Kimmy Wu

Kimmy Wu is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Physics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), part of the Division of Physics, Mathematics and Astronomy. She holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan (2008) and a Ph.D. from Stanford University (2015). Her research focuses on observational cosmology, leveraging large-scale surveys across multiple wavelengths to study the early universe, cosmic microwave background (CMB), and gravitational lensing. She develops modern statistical and machine learning tools to address cosmological questions such as the nature of primordial gravitational waves and the consistency of the ΛCDM model.
